  3. This book was published by (Ghillinions book’s: August 27, 2019)

Brief summary: In 1945 at the start of the cold war the soviet military offered 4 political prisons their freedom if they participated in an experiment requiring them to remain awake for fourteen days while under the influence of a powerful stimulant gas.

The prisoners ultimately reverted to murder self mutilations and madness. None survived.

In 2018 Dr.Roy Wallis, an esteemed psychology professor at UC Berkeley, was attempting to recreate the same experiment during the summer break in a soon-to-be-demolished building on campus. He and two student assistants share an eight-hour rotating schedule to observe their young Australian test subjects around the clock.

What being innocently enough, however, morphs into a nightmare beyond description that no one could have imagined with, perhaps, the exceptions of Dr. Roy Wallis himself.

#2. If It Bleeds by Stephen King

Important specifications

  1. This book featured in New York time bestselling author
  2. This book was written by legendary storyteller and master of short fixed Stephen king
  3. This book was published by Scribner (April 20, 2020)
  4. It’s come with 448-hardcover pages
  5. Language: English

Brief Summary: Stephen king is never more virtuosic than when he is at his most concise. I love ‘The Stand’ and duma key and under the dome – but it is the short where his ideas are honed knife-sharp that his stories become incandescent.

If it bleeds is a collection of four novels that demonstrate king’s storytelling pliability. The titular novella – a sequel to the outsider and the Mr. The Mercedes trilogy is the most straightforward and (Dare I Day) generic of the bunch. Holly Gibney notices something peculiar about a reporter, Chet Sadowsky, reporting on an explosion at a middle school, and soon learns it’s no coincidence he’s first on the scene at incidents of mass casualties.

If it bleeds is a clever mashup of police procedure and pulse-pounding in horror and is entertaining as heck, but is King writing at his safest.

Brief Summary: King wrote the ‘new coda that you want to be found in the book for the forthcoming TV adaptations starring James Marsden, Amber heard CB’s Julie Mc- Namara told deadline that ‘ for fans of the book who have wondered what becomes of the survivors of the stand.

In this story- Mick Garris was brave enough to give it a go back in the mid-’90s helming a four-hour ABC miniseries of the stand penned by the king himself. The results were pretty damn good, all things considered, enough so that most fans have been too content to consider, enough so that most fans have been content to consider that version as the closest thing we had ever got to a faithful adaptation of a king seminal novel.

Sure it has rough edges and yeah it may have aged a bit over the past 26 years but Garris’ stands hold a special place in many of our hearts. It was, however, inevitable that some other madman would come along sooner or later to give it another shot.

British director Lynne Ramsay has created a nihilist tale of guilt and horror. Working with co-writer Rory Kinnear she has adopted Lionel Shriver’s prize-winning 2003 novels – whose much- the spoofed title is now part of the language about a woman whose teenager soon Kevin has committed a columbine- style massacre.

This adaptation raises a subject which has eluded other films on the same subjects, such as Gus Van Sant’s elephant or indeed Michael Moore’s documentary bowling for columbine: the subject of the aftermath Kevin cannot be tried as an adult so who, in the end, will wind up getting the blame for a teenager boys psychopathic rampage?

Important Specifications

  1. This book had written by Dan Simmons
  2. published by St Martin’s Griffin reprint editions
  3. 8000 Book pages for a better experience
  4. Language: English

Brief summary: Maybe hearing that the book was a masterpiece for more than a decade set the bar too high for this novel. I also think the blurb comparing it to the stand on the cover also heart my reactions to this novel. I mean besides the massive number of pages I can’t see another thing about carrion comforts that makes it at all like the stand.

This novel is amazing in any way, but I don’t think it sacrilegious to say that it might be a page or two hundred too long. Simmons is brilliant water and this novel does brilliant things.

He explained the vampire concept away from blood to the mind and thus explores several deep issues ranging from violence. Cruelty to what makes a person evil.

There are lots of impressive things in this novel. I gave it four stars and not five for a couple of reasons.

#9. Pet Sematary A Novel By Stephen king

  2. Publisher – Gallery books Media tie in editions ( February 26’ 2019)
  3. Pager back 416 for an amazing experience
  4. Language – experience

Brief Summary: The house looked right, felt right to Dr. Louis Creed. Rambling old, unsmart and comfortable. A place where the family could settle the children, grow, play & explore. The rolling hills and meadows of Maine seem a world away from the fume-choked dangers of Chicago.

Only the occasional big truck out on the two-lane highway grinding up through the gears, hammering down the long gradients, growled out an intrusive threat.

But behind the house and far away from the road: that was safe just a carefully cleared path up into the woods where generations of local children have processed with the solemn innocence of the young taking with them their dear departed pets for burial.

A sad place maybe, but safe. Surely a safe place, not a place to sleep into your dreams to wake up sweating with fears and foreboding.
